Submission Guidelines

Thank you for sharing your art work with the Gisele Show Podcast, mit Friends! We love when our listeners contribute! We love that you’re enjoying your own creativity! Here are some submission guidelines.

Submit “100 Words”:

  • General creative writing.
  • A brief paragraph of 100-120 words, on any topic! Journal entry, mini-story, quick character sketch, whatever!
  • Format: in the body of an email or PDF only.

Submit a sketch or scene for The Gisele Show Players:

  • Comedy or Drama, or somewhere in between.
  • No more than 3 pages, double spaced, 12pt font.
  • Format: in the body of an email or PDF only.
  • Please clearly identify any casting you’d like to see. Though the players rotate week to week, we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Submit a poem to the Poetry Spotlight:

  • A poem of 200 words or less.
  • Format: in the body of an email or PDF only.

Submit Music:

  • We’d love to feature your compositions!
  • Format: MP3.

Perform it yourself!

  • We welcome you to do your own reading or performance:
  • Record it and send us an MP3, or upload it to YouTube and send us the link, or call our Skype line (studio.gisele) and leave a message.
  • Please keep your readings under 2 minutes.

General:

  • Please nothing ‘-ist’ (racist, sexist, size-ist, homophobic-ist, etc.)
  • Profanity and vulgarity are ok!

Rights:

  • By submitting your work, you attest that you have the rights to work, and the right to allow us to share it on the podcast. By submitting your work, you agree to allow The Gisele Show Podcast, Mit Friends! to share the work on the podcast, in all media, forever.

Submission does not guarantee we will use your work on the podcast. We reserve the right to choose what we share on the podcast. (If we decline to use something you’ve submitted, we’ll email you with the reason [too long, too whatever], and we welcome you to edit and resubmit).
